Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is a private, Christian school serving Kindergarten —12th grades in Mercer County and surrounding areas. SCA is a ministry of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church in Princeton, WV.

Originally from West Virginia, Mrs. Boyd and her family are moving back home from Tennessee, where she currently serves as a Level 5 educator. Summit Christian Academy is proud to announce its official acceptance as the newest member of the West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission (WVSSAC). This exciting milestone marks a new chapter for the Falcons as the school expands athletic and extracurricular opportunities for its students. Through this partnership with the WVSSAC, Summit Christian Academy student-athletes will now have greater access to competitive, statewide interscholastic sports and events, aligning with the school’s mission to promote excellence in character, academics, and athletics. “The Falcons are thrilled to offer even more opportunities to our student-athletes through membership in the WVSSAC,” said April Fore, Summit Athletic Director. “We are deeply thankful for this partnership and look forward to representing our community with pride, sportsmanship, and a commitment to Christian values on and off the field.” Summit Christian Academy looks forward to joining fellow member schools across the Mountain State and contributing to the tradition of excellence that defines WVSSAC athletics and activities. Summit currently offers WVSSAC sports in cross country, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, track, baseball, and golf. We also offer an equestrian club and are planning to add archery and middle school softball for the 25-26 school year. Wings up, Falcons! 💚💙
